Home is a word that instantaneously conjures up a vivid image for most people — deeply personal, steeped in nostalgia and bittersweet memories of days (or folks) passed. It’s not just a place, but a feeling. And while the old adage that you can never go home again rings as true today as ever, I believe that you can instead create home. So that’s what Thistle + Fig is for me… a place to explore the concept of home and what it means for me and the family I’m raising. And not only for us, but all those we know. My southern roots run deep and express themselves in my love for hospitality. I think it goes back to my love for home and my desire to create that sense of belonging for anyone who sits down at my table. Welcome. Have a seat.
